Daniel Swerdlin joined Chavez & Gertler as
a litigation associate in 2007. His practice focuses on consumer
protection, civil rights and catastrophic personal injury. Prior
to his current position, Mr. Swerdlin worked as an associate
at Lerach Coughlin in San Francisco, where he specialized in
securities and consumer protection litigation.
Mr. Swerdlin earned his law degree from Stanford Law School.
He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania
with a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology. Mr. Swerdlin participates
extensively in public interest law and has interned with the
AIDS Legal Referral Panel in San Francisco and the Geneva Initiative,
a Dutch affiliate of the World Health Organization dedicated
to mental health reform. In addition to pro bono work, Mr. Swerdlin
enjoys snowboarding, golf and playing the drums.
