Samuel Cheadle, Associate
Sam Cheadle joined Chavez & Gertler in October, 2012 and works primarily on class action cases involving consumer rights, employment, and financial services matters and also assists with the firm’s personal injury practice. Sam received his law degree from The George Washington University Law School in 2009, graduating with honors.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam practiced construction law on behalf of developers, general contractors and specialty subcontractors as well as representing sureties involving contract and commercial bonds. Sam also practiced as an immigration attorney, representing refugees seeking asylum in the United States. From 2011 to 2013, Sam served as co-chair of the San Francisco Bar Association’s “Bridging the Gap” Barristers Committee, assisting law students with the transition to professional practice. Currently, Sam spends time every week as a volunteer attorney at Bayview Hunters Point Community Legal, a non-profit that provides a wide array of legal services to the most underserved community in San Francisco. Since 2010, Sam has participated in the San Francisco Bar Association’s Mock Trial program as a proud coach of Abraham Lincoln High School’s Mock Trial Team.
When not practicing law, Sam enjoys the outdoors through surfing, hiking and rock climbing.
